Mindfulness empowers us to meet life with greater clarity, compassion, and purpose. By cultivating awareness of our internal patterns and reactions, we gain the tools to respond—rather than react—in both our personal lives and high-pressure, professional environments.

ABOUT Emily

Emily Lohman-Spear, LCSW, is a seasoned psychotherapist and mindfulness educator with over 20 years of experience helping individuals heal, grow, and deepen their understanding of themselves. Her approach is grounded in mindfulness, EMDR, and a deep commitment to trauma-informed, compassionate care.

Emily began her career working with trauma survivors—including military veterans and individuals impacted by 9/11—which shaped her belief in the human capacity for resilience and transformation. Today, she brings that same depth of understanding to her private practice and her Mindfully-Informed workshops, which offer practical tools for managing stress, cultivating awareness, and living with greater intention.

Certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and trained in EMDR, Emily supports clients through individualized therapy and engaging group experiences. Her work is rooted in the belief that healing begins with awareness, understanding, and self-compassion—and that a safe, trusting relationship is the foundation for lasting change.

 

Whether working one-on-one or in a corporate setting, Emily empowers people to navigate their inner world with clarity and care—so they can show up more fully in their personal and professional lives.
